It looks just like my sister Anna.:D
Love the blossoms and the BKGR. Did you set the flower up? Did you add sugar water? IAC< get back to work and get a male of either species!
The slight blurring of the wingtips and the lack of d-o-f are minor distractions. Working at say 1/500 sec. would give you both more d-of and more blur to the wingtips, possibly a winning combo.
I love the vertical pose of the hummingbird, and the bleeding hearts (?) look great against the green BG. I might consider eliminating the flowerless stem at left, during PP after-the-fact here...or physically for the next round of photos if you return to that perch.
I love it as posted Aidan, great bg and comp.
Thanks everyone for the comments. Artie- yes, I set up the flowers, and added sugar water. Someday I would like to purchase some flashes and learn to use them. Do you think it would improve the image if the wingtips were blurred more?
Daniel- yes they are bleeding hearts
Well all I can say is great shot and ditto Artie
Great overall setting.
Great comp, great pose, great BG and light. COngratulations!
