I thought I would post this as a bit of fun. As I was headed out early this morning, looking for some bif's, I saw this little guy. I grabbed for the camera, turned it on, turned the flash on, rolled down the window and slowly pulled ahead. I quicky stuck the camera out the window and took the shot. Av mode as usual, so I ended up at 1/15 and EC+1. I was surprised how sharp some of the details turned out.
I am not sure at all what caused the white mikly looking stuff which I tried to get rid of. Topaz Psychedelic did the best.

Dave, that is very cool! You probably couldn't have planned a shot like this. I like it a lot. You got the flash exposure for sharpness and then the full exposure with the blur. ;)

Well done Dave,
I like the impact and the up close pose...the colors are bold and vibrant, and the background compliments your bird quite well...good show...

Dave, I love the effect. The colors are cool and your bg blur is great. I like the sharp eye. He looks like he's wearing a scarf!

You are right about trying to plan this shot Kerry. For me it never would have happened. Enjoy that new 400. I took this with mine and use it almost all the time.
Tks Gus and Denise. I had thought a scarf or bow tie when I first saw it also.
Funny how it all turned out. Lucky that morning.
