Found this poor millipede drowning in my driveway. Put it in a terrarium and it has recovered.
Thought it would make an interesting shot.

Hi Chris,
I like the composition and the placement of your subject in frame...I like the high-key impact....would recommend on saturating the mid-tones on the under side of your subject just a tad...

I like it a lot Chris !! Can't say I've see a high key millipede !!! :)
Would like seeing the contrast tweaked a bit having some of the dark bands darker !! Really nice !!!

Nicely done, Chris! I agreed with Gus that it just needs a little bit of a tweak. I lowered the offset slider on the exposure layer and raised the gamut just a bit.
Great job on lighting. This is sharp as a tack!

Thanks Julie! It's amazing what little tweak can do. I need to keep working on my PS skills that's for sure.

Hey Chris,
Very unusual and very well handled. Jules PP tweak was a nice touch. Very well handled on the DOF and the comp placement is very well done!

Hey Chris, This is one spectacular image and one excellent repost. The sharpness is amazing. Whatever happened to diffraction???
I am unfamiliar with the Foamcore lightbox and the lights that you describe. Where was the subject when it was photographed? How did you get it to look as if it were floating in space?
