Been lucky with a good location this late Winter for Long-tailed Ducks so I have been working on diving images. LTDs do not launch into a dive like some other ducks so most of the drama comes in the end - here is one converted to B&W in PS. 1DMk3 on500f4 hand held at iso400, 1/1250, f5.6, manual, AIservo. Bob
Bob, Really neat looking! Great action captured here! Might take a little off bottom.Different for sure- I like it alot!!

Really cool image, Bob. I'd consider taking 1/3 of the image off the bottom - let the splash and the feathers carry the image instead of all the extra water.
I like this Bob,
A wild and unique capture...love the splash and trail of water left by the tail...well done...my vote also in taking a little off the bottom to concentrate and zero in on the action...good show...

Bob, I'd take a sliver more...see the dark line at the bottom of the frame on the left side? Get that out and I think you'll have a perfect crop. Nicely done!

Bob, I think you should leave enough room on bottom for the implied duck-but that's just my personal opinion.
