I took 3 exposures of this as we were leaving Anhinga Trail and decided to try some different. I processed them as an HDR, fully knowing they would not align, since they were not of the same weeds. I thought the combination may look good and what do you guys think?

Fabs, I like it and think it was a great idea-the warm colors add to the soft wispy feel!!

I think it looks great. I especially like the plant in the middle that is whitish. It compliments the others and makes a good focal point for the image. Thanks for sharing!

Fabs: I really like your experimental nature, but as I'm sure you know sometimes experiments go wrong. I'm afraid, IMO, this is such a case. Essentially you are using the HDR algorithms to blend images, and there are quite pronounced errors in this approach.
For example I've tried HDR images, taken on a tripod, of moving waves at a beach, and there were a large number of areas that the computer could'nt calculate and what was left were ugly holes. Not as pronounced in your image, but evident to me at least.
I think that a more succesful approach would have been to use layers for each of your photographs, and use tranparancy and blending to combine them. regards~Bill

Bill, I was not looking for exact calculations, but rather take an abstract approach.
As an artist, lines and colors don't have to conform to norms, rather to visual appeal.
