Was out taking photos near the edge of a nature preserve when I captured this leaf heading downstream. I don't have any polarizing filters so I did the best I could in post-processing and then used a surface blur to add a bit more 'mystery' to the water.
Oh, and did I mention that I was out in short sleeves without a coat on? Eat your hearts out, everyone! :D

Julie, It's a cool effect and has your touch! Nicely composed-I like that you kept the leaf sharp!
Short Sleeves in Feb.???? Sounds great!

In like it a lot Jules Was thinking if you could bring just a tad of more visibility to the leaf a above? Simple and elegant !!!

Neat Julie,
Love the navy with all the reflections in it and the placement of the leaf in the frame.

Here it is with a screen layer over the top and everything but the top of the leaf masked off.

Jules, It looks like you took the surface blur effect off-either way it's a keeper for sure!

Well, how weird is that? All I did was add a boost to the leaf. Here it is with the blur back again.
