Dug this out of my archives from last year. I wish I hadn't clipped the butterfly's right wing, but do you think it works in spite of that?
Olympus SP-550 UZ

Program mode, auto WB, natural light
To achieve a soft, dreamy look, I duplicated the photo on a new layer in PS, blurred it, then placed the original, unblurred layer on top and lowered its opacity. I also desaturated a bit and applied a sepia tone.

Hi Chris I think it does work You did get the blades of grass in perfectly and had such a good overall feel !!!
At first I was going to suggest going tighter but the more I look at it the more I like it as presented !!! Keeper in my book !!!!

Hi Christopher,
I like the composition, you display good details, but the image looks a bit flat, and slightly under exposed. I adjusted the contrast and saturation and also adjusted the blacks; and did a round of selective sharpening on the wings. See if this presents best to you...

Thanks Gus, your repost is a definite improvement. It does look a little too contrasty for my taste, I'll try for something in between the two.
Thanks again!
