Classic pose with complementing background. Browns are little dark on my monitor.
Interesting pose and colour palette. I might try a version without the pale grasses in the FG - not sure if that would improve it but could be worth a look.
Dark here as well. Would also try a vert. crop.
Nice squawking pose, and the leg up adds an element of interest. It did not choose the best of perches though (not much you could do there!!) Comp looks good as is, and yes a vertical is another option. I kinda like the grasses.
I like the grass too.It makes the composition intresting and a little more than a portrait.
Nice behavior catch. I like that he has a leg pulled in too. I find the grass a little distracting, but nothing major.
