Like the eye contact. While there is good detail in the blacks, the whites look a little hot. There appears to be a dust spot on the sensor just above the midpoint of the perch on the left. I would remove the strand of hair on the right side of the perch. One more thing about the perch; it's a shame that it's stumped off like that. Also there appear to be some cloning artifacts just above the tail feathers.
I like the composition and eye contact. Adding to Doug's comment, the bird looks a bit overflashed.
Should the perch be broken off??
