Thanks for looking,
Great capture, I never get tired of seeing snowy owls! Obviously, the right eye is in a bit of a shadow. I know the D3 has some great latitude for pulling details out of shadows. Is it fixable?
Good job braving the cold too. =)

Sharpness and exposure look great. Minor fixes I would do are the following: CCW rotation, adding canvas back at the top (if you have it), and toning down the bright streak near the talons. It has been a brutally cold week here in Ottawa too (same temps as you indicate)...kudos for going out anyhow!!
I like the pose, details and setting. Adding to the other comments, maybe a bit NR on the BG.
Lovely pose- really conveys the feel of soft silent flight. Agree re rotation. I would remove of blur the single sharp stalk. Brightness, sharpness and colour all draw the eye and I find the sharp stalk pulls the eye away from the bird.
I agree with the previous comments. I would try to rework the dark eye trying to lighthening it.
Agree with all of the above- some detail in that eye and its all good.
