Nice abstract quality to this image. I like the way that the front birds' head is framed within the second birds' light colored body.

I like the composition, exposure control, details, eye contact and the OOF birds work really well here.
I think this is superb, Grace. Your flash and DOF have worked perfectly to create a good image. The thing that makes it for me is the line of the duck's forehead and bill echoed by the line between the pale and dark tones of the duck behind. The only thing which may have been better was if the duck was slightly further right to gain separation of it's bill from the dark part of the reflection. The eye is lovely and contrasts well with the resting poses behind. A fine dark frame would enhance web presentation with the pale BPN BG. Excellent job.
