I was looking for reflection shots and the pink colors coming thru caught my eye-I desaturated it and did a slight orton effect on it.

I like the composition and the reflections in the ice. Also the blacks in the trees look nice and black. The only thing I might do is tone down the white at the top of the frame. Like the leaves in the ice and the rock(?) too.

Agree with Jackie on the top of the frame - it does need just a tweak to bring it down a slight bit. The rest is very nice! I love the leaf in the LRC but would suggest thinking about cloning out the smaller one at the bottom of the frame. That one seems distracting to me.

Love the Orton effect here along with the desaturation. Nicely done, Denise and well seen!

Denise, Good eye! I really like the original post. The 3 trees with just the right difference in diameters and angles is a good find. The small amount of orton works but I think this would be strong without it also. I agree that the top could be toned down. I would us a quick mask, invert it and then use shadow/highlight filter to selectively correct the area. My 2cents:)

Gus, Agree the top should be lightened, but I think your re-post lost some of the depth in the center. Probably the resizing.Thanks for the help.
