Purple Moore Hen

Also known as Purple Swamp hen. Photographed in Keoladeo Ghana National Park, India. this image is cropped from bottom and right about 30%. I was yet to set a tripod when I found this one taking a morning bath.

Unfortunately, it was the only view through the bush.

Canon EOS 50D, Canon EF 400mm f2.8 L IS USM, EF 2xII. ISO 400, f5.6, 1/250. Look forward to your comments and critiques.

Great find and action, too bad it wasn't looking at you. Higher ISO would have helped with the shutter speed.

Love the action in this image and the water droplets flying every which way. My only wish would be for a little more eye contact. Thanks for sharing.

Other than the not so ideal head angle, the image is nice and you had captured some great action. :)
