I like the blur shots of trees and haven't been able to get one -weather in Jersey is not co-operating w/ my schedule! So I manufactured one out of a water blur- only I made up the colors and the trees-I added brush strokes to it- Couldn't decide which one was better-let me know your thoughts

They are very similar, so similar that I like both. If I am not understanding what you have done here... What was the original image like and what did you do next (and how)? Thanks. I especially like the colors in the upper corners.
Hi, Artie, I took this photo and did an equalize on it to make the colors more vibrant then I cropped a very small portion of the reflection w/ a couple of tree trunks in it-then I cloned more trees into frame and did a few brush strokes to get this effect. In the original crop there were only a couple of short tree bases-the rest were cloned in or brushed in
The botom of the image is different between the two-the one has a curved base inc. the other doesn't

They're both very lovely, but I prefer the first one- the curves do it for me. A very clever idea, well executed. colors are really nice too. :)

I like 'em both...can't put my finger on it because they are so similar but I think the second one is a bit better because of the strokes...it looks more like a natural reflection to me.
Good work on this, girl! Wow...now that's some creative thinking!
