And how its AF perform comparing with D3 and D300?
Do you find its 90% (95% x 95%) viewfinder an issue?
Thanks!

Hi Desmond James has one and loves it !!! I'm sure he will drift over and post comment !!
Viewfinder wise I always find it a pain not having full 100% All pro body cameras always had it and you get used to it.
I have the D300 and D700 and suspect the AF on the D700 may be marginally batter - it seems to lock and hold a little better but both bodies AF continues to amaze me. I don't have a problem with the viewfinder for birds but for landscape 100% would be preferable. The high ISO performance of the D700 (and D3) is the big benefit - it makes available opportunities that previously didn't exist.
The D700 has the D3 AF system, I would guess it to be superior to the D300. Any other D700 owners comments are appreciated.
