Lovely Denise. I love this effect. I was wondering if would look better without the habitat in the URC?? Good pose and HA.
I like the water-colored look you've achieved. You took a very common duck and made it look great- really nice work! I'm a big fan~
Lady Denise,
I love the watercolor effect. I like the head turn and the habitat...well presented...I would suggest in cloning out or toning down the horizontal darker blue band going across the background...
I took the blue line out-Thanks!
Well done...now its a true master piece...:D:cool:
Denise, something about all that color at the top bothered me so I tried a square crop instead - I think it retains all of the beauty of the image and gets rid of the extra color/heaviness in the URC. I also took a sliver off the right side to put the bird on the opposite frame from the grass. See what you think...
BTW - the colors and technique in this are beautiful. You can sure tell you know how to paint!
Hi Julie, I guess I'm not a big fan of square crops-but see your point-Thanks for the help!!
Hi Denise, Julie
Julie I like the crop since the top area was pulling me and competing a bit with the center of interest. I like the simplicity of the image cropped this way.
Denise, I like very much the painterly effect you gave the image and the softness of the color. To me the placement of the subject is ideal..Nice!
