The widgeon had a reflection that was distorted due to a slight breeze. So I first copied the widgeon. Next I pasted and then inverted it. I then applied a very light gaussian blur. Last of all i used the liquify tool to very slightly bend the feathers a tiny bit. I think it could have used a little bit more distortion as its a little too perfect still. what do you think?

I'm a big fan of taking a photograph and taking it a little bit further and you did it really well here, Chris. I'd be hard pressed to guess that this wasn't originally a painting. I really love the composition, the pose of the bird and the colors of the entire image...they make this have a very intimate feel to it. Nicely done!
