Interesting to say the least !!! Been staring at it for a while and haven't been able to grasp the image. Love the colors and textures but there is something with the elements that looks odd?
Somehow my mind wants to twirl the image to the left !!! Makes you think, my kind of image !!!
Hi Denise,
I like the image...The tones and hues are superb. My eye starts to flow with the different quadrants going clock wise; but when I get to the bottom sectors, I get stuck with the rectangles. they seem to stop the fluid motion. See if you can bend the squares into quasilinear curves; to continue the natural fluid motion of things...:D:cool:
Gus, Do you think I should just keep the abstract w/o the boxes? I liked the boxes but it seems like nobody likes the stopping lines
Baby girl...From the HEART...I would keep it...for sure. Its a different point of view. I personally like the second one, with more fluid motion...but thats me...:) Stick by your guns...remember, its an abstract, its your inner vision...:)
Thanks Gus -I appreciate your support!!
Denise, I have to go with the second one, also. If you're going to do a four-square box I think you need to find a stronger patter and make sure each box has it's own look or repeat the same pattern. The top one leaves me feeling confused and trying to blend the pieces together in my mind. The bottom one just does the work for me.
Call me lazy!
Love the colors and tones in this. I even like the posterization. Nice work.
