Here's a fake one

This time I made it up.
Used a BG from that day and selected a gull with a blah bg and made the composite.

Great PS work Fabs! I would like to have the BG a little OOF however. This would give more depth to the image. For me, this would be more pleasing and believable. Very nice though!:)

Love the composition and colors, but... Maybe a nit: the gull looks to me to be lit from the right, and the sun is on the left. Don't know how to fix that. Flipping the BG horizontally would put the sun in nearly the right place for the lighting angle on the gull, but the resulting composition wouldn't be nearly as good. Moving the gull to the left would put it somewhere between centered and flying out of the frame.

While i agree with the light direction...........IMO this is not what this image is about.......although I may admit that some part of the brain may be confused with the light angle.........so I will offer another though.........a large silhouette........with the exact position you have in this one............would also be a very strong graphic.........and I would like them both.
