We went to the Causeway by Key Biscayne to play with the Gulls, weather is beautiful but still not fully birds season, so at least, we know the Gulls are always ready to cooperate.
This one I clipped the left wing, but I liked the fact the the sun was behind it and decided to rescue it, making it a graphical image. The head and bill were added afterward and one wing was cut in PS to match the other, that got some more cropping.

Fabs,I like the birds position in the shot . I also like the colors in your BG. I see photos w/ the silhouette style and those colors in BG =How did you achieve those colors? Did you use the gradient tool?
A nice rescue effort indeed. I like the gradient two tone background with the sun peeking through...and the flight banking angle of the seagull...well done Miss Fabs...:cool:
I forgot to mention I used two Bi-color filters from Nik Color Effex 3.0, plugin that I like and use a lot.Quote:

The light coming through the tail feathers is the part that takes this over the top for me.
