9 exposures combined in Photoshop, with a bunch of tweaks. For those of us who don't use that N-brand :D equipment, here's the basic approach:
Expose each frame normally. Make the same basic adjustments on each frame. Drag them all into one file in PS as layers. Set the blending mode to Lighten and the opacity to 70% on all layers, including the bottom one. (This seems to work well for just about any number of frames.) Then make whatever additional adjustments you want (contrast, saturation, burn/dodge, etc) on the composite.
