Anyone had any trouble with the meter on their D200? Mine started acting erratic late the other night, I was inside my house shooting and took a break for an hour or so and then came back to it. EXACT same lighting conditions, settings, etc. and the exposures that were spot on straight off the camera one hour prior were several stops underexposed. Messed with it for a little while, then decided to give it a rest.
Went out this morning in the yard to shoot some, and the same thing started happening. I tried all of the metering modes (spot, center weighted, and matrix) and the same problem kept showing up. I reset every menu, took the batteries out of the camera, and still the same results. I was using my remote release, and took two shots back to back at f/8 and the shutter speed on the first one was 1/40 s, and the second one was 1/160 s. Back to back shutter releases, nothing at all changed. I'm thinking its headed to see NIkon here in the next couple of days, just wanted to see if anyone else has had problems like this. I can't think of anything else it could be than a faulty meter (I know, I know, its a Nikon..).....Thanks for any insight y'all could provide.
