I can see why it's one of your favorites Al. You've got great details and contrast through out the whole image, as well a great composition.
Truly this one call for a nice black frame.

Beautiful display of tonal range. Lots to look at and your eye moves through it all. Only thing that I see that could have been better is that you cut off the corner of the cemetery marker in the nearest FG. One step back and one to the left and I think this would have been an even stronger image.
I think Jules is on to something. A step back and to the left would put the fence line in the bottom left corner and lead it out the top left somewhat. Alfred, may I ask why "You" like it?
I like the composition and capture...I was thinking doing these types of composition on a rainy, over cast day just about 1/2 hour before night time with a zoom blurr...:eek: It would be one heck of a powerful image...:D:cool:
