American Red Start Male
This was taken at the Green Cay Wetlands in Mid-Afternoon, just lucky.
Canon 50-D and a 100-400 IS-L lens.
ISO=200 at f/8 1/60th of a sec. and a +0.3 exp.comp. lens set at 400-MM.

Hi Bill! Looks like you've sorted out your 50D issues. Congrats on your American Redstart! The light seems a little harsh, and I'd like to see some more eye contact. Also there appears to be a halo around the bird. Thanks for posting!

You handled the light nicely Bill I like the comp and the way you framed the bird the detail looks great I agree with Doug more eye contact would of been nice.
I too see a halo......
