Four Snow Buntings turned up at a local estuary. They fed regularly in a relatively small area for several days - I never did find where they roosted - until one was taken by a Merlin, then they moved on. The mud was not very photogenic as a BG so I concentrated on trying to get them when they went to a small fresh water run-in to drink and bathe. They appeared to be feeding on tiny particles of vegetable matter/seeds on the surface of the exposed mud.

Hi Melvin! I like the look-back pose and the blue of the water. I think the head could stand a little additional sharpening. Also, please try to include tech specs along with your photos.

Great find, light and setting. The wings look a bit oversharpened and the head could take some more sharpening. I might crop a bit off the bottom.
