I stopped by a local lake tonight right before sundown. There were all kinds of colors on the lake's surface tonight - everything from bright yellows to deep reds. This was a panned image I did where I went against the way the wind was blowing, causing a cross hatch effect on the water's surface. I may try to liquify it or add some other technique to it in pp but I thought this was really nice for something in camera.

Julie, I love the colors and the pattern. Did you try a vertical crop on this . I feel like w/ the pattern it may give it more depth. I like it w/o anything added I think it's interesting enough. This feels like one of those times where less is more.

HI Julie,
the colors and the mood are enticing and beautiful. .. a great gradient of color and texture!
You might try to make more subtle (but not take away) a little of the intensity of the brighter line going down the first fourth of the image and the intense orange spot looks just a little posterized 2/3 of the way through the image. Both those spots could be toned down just a tad with a linear burn in photoshop, if you desire.
The feel, the mood and the flow of this image is wonderful and speaks a thousand words with one image. Nice:)

Julie: It looks like a sheet of copper. Really nice color.
