Well, time for another crazy liquefy composition. This was a photo of an old hornbeam tree, split. That's where the 2 figures came from. At first, from the photo, the male looked angry and aggressive, but I just couldn't bring myself to leave him that way. I don't think there's much left of the original photo-got a little carried away as I saw more and more things to add. Some of this is painted, then processed with texture. Count the critters!! :D

Wow, do I like this! I've counted five critters so far, but feel like there may be more hidden in there. Cindy, this is wonderfully creative, and my congrats on pulling this off. It looks like it could be an illustration in a children's story. My grandsons would love this!
