Welcome, Michael. Interesting shot with the open beak and tongue. Image looks a bit dark and underexposed - not sure what metering mode you used to achieve your manual exposure setting - spot meter whites+2 stops is a start. Increasing exposure will add more detail to the dark areas - especially the legs which are lacking detail. Image looks a bit oversharpened as presented with prominent halos. Looking forward to more of your pictures.

Good exposure and compo although angle is steep and it looks a bit over-sharpened.
