This was taken on a dirt road. I couldn't find a shot of anything that interested me. I saw the muddy puddle and foam white bubbles-but then I saw the reflection . I did an effect similar to an Orton Action then I cloned in color from other areas and toned down the bubbles. A photo filter was added- no crop. I tried to maintain the muddy look (it had a foggy effect) and wanted to achieve a water-colored painting.

I like the effect here and am just wondering - where is the mud pie? :D;):D
I do find the white areas around the right edges a bit distracting. Did you try playing with any tighter crops?

Hi Denise,
I like the soft effect. I found this on the web and it will do the Orton Technique in about one second and it's free. http://www.joecolsonphotography.com/2007/02/01/orton-technique. You don't have total control over the amount of Gaussian Blur but it is still lots of fun.

Julie, I thought they added to the dreaminess of the photo. I'm re-posting w/ crop let me know what you think.
