I shot this photo at Allaire State Park. I wasn't happy w/ the shot- I felt it was boring so I went back and re-shot it at a lower angle and flipped it vertically. I then put a high-key effect on it.I thought the path was plain so I cloned in more tree shadows. I painted parts of the photo to give interest were I felt needed.Comments are always appreciated.
The sky looks too saturated and filled in on the first post. See if re-post is better.

I definitely like your repost better; the original wasn't quite high-key enough. I really like all the interesting lines here - path, shadows, trees, fence. All very harmonious. I'm kind of ambivalent about placing the path's vanishing point centered vertically. Cropping from bottom & left to put it more on the lower thirds level might strengthen the comp a bit, but it also removes a lot of the FG path, which I find very interesting (patterns & textures). Whatever works best for you.
A nit: There's a small bit of red on the left edge near center that doesn't seem to fit the overall color pallet. I'd clone that out.
Now and then I see an image with lots of interesting lines and textures, and it makes me wonder "What would Find Edges do to this?". Try it - I think it produces another cool interpretation of your image. Also look at Find Edges blended in Luminosity mode over your original - gives it a sort of ink drawing over watercolor look.
Chris I see the red spot -good eye. Also I like your idea about FIND EDGES, can't wait to try it. Also after seeing image now for 2 days I think I will re- shoot alittle to the right and see where that gets me. Nice to know you liked the shadows on the path they were my story. I like the high key image but prefer the first one for some reason. Maybe because it feels warmer to me? I think going back and moving a bit to the right is a good idea although there is nothing wrong with this comp. I bet the next one will be even stronger, though. Good stuff, Denise!
Both look great but do like the first also Might even look good with stronger/denser yellows but might fall into something different.

Chris, I did a find edges then turned it to a B&W. Then added a warming filter. I like it.
Alfred, I did a find edges then added some long brush strokes to give a slight blur.
So many cool possibilities from one click of the shutter - amazing! Keep exploring!
