We kept returning to this spot in Kissimee to see the babies which were due to hatch. They never did. The eggs were finally abandonned. Such is nature.

A shame that they never hatched Susan. I like this photo; eggs are visible, parent is attentive, exposure and sharpness look good. I also like the tall plant on the right. Only suggestion would be to add a little more room on the top and bottom, as it feels a little tight as presented.
Hey Susan, Love the detail here. I think the tight crop helps give attention to the eggs. Doug summed up everything else I was thinking.
Can add Love the warm colors !!! Great feel !!
Love it! Love the natural moment you've captured, the pose, the eggs, the BG, light, all looks great, I think it's a little to warm, almost a bit greenish. But other than that, I love it! Congratulations!
Ps: Let's hope next time the eggs do hatch.
I love Florida, these guys were so tame that I could literally touch them.
But when I came to California the same bird is like always miles away.
Beautiful shot though with nice compostion.
