Way Cool !!!! I like the effect very much The body color with florescent beaks works great Might suggest giving the water a different tint? Since you are altering the image ... why not go and evict the birds which are cut by the edge of image Like the little cluster to the right and two on the left !!! Keep experimenting !!!!!

I'm not a big fan of fluorescent either :) but it's a matter of preference.
Al has given you good advise on deleting the cropped bodies :)
