A wall full of Ivy at peak color, worked over with the Buzz simplifier to give it a moody painterly look. I discovered the wall when its color was just starting and returned to the (fairly distant) location several times before I hit the magic day.....
Ken, this is downright magical! I love the shades of gray that play against all that red and the dark windows give it a real 3-dimensional feel. The painterly effect really puts this over the top. Very nice work!!!
Kenn, This is one killer image. I like the contrasting colors; especially the hues of red. Good show...looking forward to your next creation...:cool:
What a high impact image!!! I'm so mad I couldn't find Buzz for Mac! But I do have Windows on my Interl Powerbook, so I'll try and find a copy in Ebay.

Thanks everyone.... its always tough to really "nail" one... no matter what your process is... Ive made using the Buzz filter a kind of personal art form and it IS easy to over work the image.... each one needs to be addressed in its own way ... though it can be used as a canned one size fits all... clearly its best when customized for each image... and thats where it gets tricky.... I use it to take the mood that is present and enhance it.... when I get done Im looking to feel the same thing I felt when I first saw the image in real life..... the buzz is able to do this in a subltly different way than pure photography.... so it offers additional challenges and different rewards... well... I guess Im going on and on.... I was just trying to thank you all.. and give some insight to why and how I use this process.....

Well, i wish I'd painted this one!! (I'm a watercolorist). Superb, in a word.
Such a sad loss to lose a wonderful photographer like Kenn. He passed away this weekend. He will be missed!
In memoriam. Kenn's work was simply magical. I am fairly sure that he his up in heaven partying with my late wife Elaine.
