Beautiful! Great composition, and the backlighting creates a nice effect. BG is really nice too. Like that in spite of the backlighting, the eye has some life to it.

I think it works! The BG is quite beautiful. I would love to see this bigger, but I have to admit that your frame takes away from the image though...

Lovely image Sudhir. Liked the rim lighting a lot. Very pleasing composition & what a BG u've got there...
Can notice a little bit of masking halo around the perch (above the brighter areas).

You handled this exposure extremely well and the bg is lovely. I am not very fond of backlit images overall, but for me personally backlighting works best where there is interesting texture in fur or feathers. I think I would prefer frontal lighting for this kingfisher. Still, a well-executed shot.
