Hi Steve. Another outstanding image of these owls. You certainly have their full attention - it must have been a great story you were telling them. (Maybe you can share it with the rest of us sometime :) )
I love your pano presentation works well for me especially getting their eyes all in the clear. Well Done!
Excellent shot Steve ! I love the way they are eyeing you. :-)
The pano works well. It would have also worked nicely, if you could have gone for longer focal length to just isolate the three of those on the left. Lovely little ones. Thanks for sharing.
Well Done!! Excellent composition and exposure! I love the five sets of eyes staring at you! A riveting image!
Quite a feat to get all five of these cuties looking your way. I like the pano presentation but might like the top of the green bushy weed included if you have it. Nicely executed image with high "Cute" factor!
I had no idea that burrowing owls were so interested in photography....thanks for the tip. Next time I am photographing them, I'll try your method!
Quite the background story on this image Steve and it obviouslmworked because they are all very attentive. Awesome image and all I can say is I wish it were mine < smile >. Excellent composition , detail and of course eye contact. Love it.
I don't really mind the BG as it goes well with the whole scene, all those eyes just pop out nicely! Congratulations!
Congratulations,
The entire family in one take...love it...
You sure got their attention! Wonderful family portrait.
Thanks everyone for the comments and suggestions.
Gus,
Not quite the entire family. There were eight babies at this nest. The other 3 were at a different hole. No way I was going to get all eight looking at me :)
