1D3 plus EF 600 f/4 IS USM with 2xTC which brings things to a dazzling 1560 mm. I can't believe the reach this combo affords without apparent sacrifice. I've always appreciated the narrow angle of view presented by the 600. As a geezer (getting older) I have trouble getting back to my feet if I lie in the muck like I should. I can survive knees and elbows. I feel more and more that with equipment like this "You'll have to do better." That is encouraging. This is not the very best of images, but now I'm much more aware of possibilities. Shooting a narrow angle from further away helps a good deal. C&C welcomed.

Angle, pose and head angle look good. The light is a bit harsh and I wish for a catchlight.

I too wish for a more prominent catchlight...would give more life to the image. I also wish the composition was not so centered. A good crop from the right would work well. You controlled the harsh light nicely, but the angle of the light was not ideal :-)

Hi Stephen
Agree with the harsh light comments above........but a proportional crop from right and top and bottom........may help strengthen the comp.
