This guy was feasting on snails on the bottom of the log he was on. I'm pretty sure the shutter snapping got his attention.
This was taken in low light, so I had to open up the aperture.

Great job on a shot of a young feeding raccoon. Yep the high ISO introduced a little grain. The white spot off the rump is a minor distraction. Great capture!

Nice soft light and a good refection on the smooth water is very nice. Using this lens wide open gave you the nice smooth BG which focuses your attention on the subject. A few minor distractions as mentioned. Looks like you could also use a little clockwise rotation. Good effort.

What a lovely reflection! If you would have placed this little fellow a bit more to the right it might have worked even better. The empty space on the right doesn't add much interest and by placing the raccoon more to the right, you would give it slightly more space to look into.
