Good timing to capture this nice really pose, but unfortunate that you clipped the wing. There is a cyan cast to the image and the whites are a bit over. Must have been a great experience to see this gorgeous bird make the dive so close to you!

A nice capture; but you cut the wing off...and the bird looks a bit soft. The water line needs CW rotation...I modified your image. did the CW rotation and sprinkled selective sharpening around the head and eye section, also gave you a tad of saturation...:cool:
Great pose, catch and eye contact. Too bad about the clipped wing. I would tone down the whites on the head a bit. It needs a tad CW rotation. I think the repost needs a bit CCW rotation, though. :)
I have to disagree with Gus on this one. The image looks sharp but the wing has to be fixed or if you have the pixels, I would go for a tighter crop.
