Took this image on an outback birding trip late last year...lost count of the number of burrs in my clothes after laying on the ground for this one!

This is very nicely done. Love the alert posture, the sharpness, and with the bird out of the center of the frame, the COMP. Good head angle and nice light. Good post processing--no over-SAT and not overly sharpened. Biggest problem? The OOF grass or stick in front of the little stuff growing just in front of the bird. Overall, I like it.
later and love, artie
I like the composition, light and details on this one. The only thing that is bothering me is whatever is making that line in the right side of the frame.
This is great. Nice and warm. Techs look good to me. I'd loose the oof twig or whatever that is on the far right that runs top to bottom.
What a cool little bird. Great outback BG you have here :)
What an alert post and lovely colors.
A beautiful bird I am unfamiliar with. Lovely alert pose and good exposure. The only nit is that tall oof grass stalk on the right which can easily be cloned out. Worth picking burrs off your clothing for hours!
A very pleasing composition. The bird is sooooo alert and I think he knew you were there. A nice sharp image.
Thank you all for the comments. I'll go back to processing it again and get rid of that offending twig!
