As with other B&W birds I suggest trying for early morning or late afternoon images or overcast cloudy day images. Try to isolate still birds to avoid other birds as oof clutter. I assume you will be near Portland, Victoria. I am planning to go there as well. When will you be there?
I will be in Australia from August 29th thru October 26th, but I'm not sure exactly when I will visit the Gannet Colony.
