Hi to all,
Australian Wood Ducks rarely spend any time in the water. Most of the day they waddle around on land or in trees, so couldn't let this opportunity slip bye.
All comments, critiques are more than welcome and all help appreciated.
I like this as presented. Nice light, low angle, exposure. I love the ripples in the water in front of the duck.

Yes, quite lovely. Sharp, great EXP, perfect head angle, and nice light.

Ditto the above, and I love the alert pose. There is a sharpening halo along the back of the head and neck though, and along the tail down to the water.

Very nice light, details, angle and setting. Maybe a bit less contrast and there is a sharpening halo.

Nice one Ari. I rarely see these in the water myself and when I do, no camera. LOL!
Thanks for sharing. BTW, I saved those Kingfisher perches from Sunday. They're at home now. :)

Thank you all for your kind comments and help with improvements.
That's good to hear Akos. Should give those kingfishers a go when the weather gets better.
