Wood Duck

Hi to all,
Australian Wood Ducks rarely spend any time in the water. Most of the day they waddle around on land or in trees, so couldn't let this opportunity slip bye.

All comments, critiques are more than welcome and all help appreciated.

I like this as presented. Nice light, low angle, exposure. I love the ripples in the water in front of the duck.

Yes, quite lovely. Sharp, great EXP, perfect head angle, and nice light.

Agree with the commets above and weant to add that the compostion looks very nice too! Congrats!

Ditto the above, and I love the alert pose. There is a sharpening halo along the back of the head and neck though, and along the tail down to the water.

Very nice light, details, angle and setting. Maybe a bit less contrast and there is a sharpening halo.
