What a pretty bird, the setting is quite busy but works for me. I might lighten the bird some more (S/H) and decrease contrast some points. Thanks for sharing!
Too contraty and too saturated. I also wish the bird was higher in the frame. Beautiful bird though, and a pretty cool perch.
Beautiful and colorful. I would also recrop and remove space behind the tail while bringing the bird higher in the frame.
Hi, Doug. These guys are tough, and one of the few times they do sit still is when feeding like this, so I think that you did pretty well. I believe the plant is Miconia, by the way, in the Melastomataceae family (not 100% sure though). Did you take this outside the cafeteria at La Selva Biological Station?
