Made the image during a trip to Russia. This girls was in a park drawing a church. Found interesting the contrast interesting, this girls was drawing in peace with nothing but commotion all around her. Image made with Leica M6 35 Summicron RDP Slide Film

That is some amazing light you found peeking over that girl's shoulder! I really love this, Al. I think my favorite part is the shadow of her thumb against the white BG of the paper. My one little suggestion would be to tone down the bright white spot on the back of her neck/sweater and maybe try to recover a little detail in the crown of her head.
This really has such a nice feel to it. I can really feel her concentration!

this is beautiful Alfred. Nice conversion. the old film days. I still have frozen stock of Agfa Scala B&W slide film, but can't find a lab that will process it.
great tones here my friend

Nicely done Mr. Al.
I like the different tones and contrast light patterns in monocrome. Also like the capture angle; just peeking over her shoulder...simple and elegant...good show...by the way, do you still have your Leica M6? Such a fine camera...:)
