Image created last weekend in a local park here in Athens, Greece. I set up my tripod low under a large tree and watched these little guys searching for insects and worms in the now dry grass. When they find one, they kill it with their beak and then they throw it in the air and swallow.
Ha! Great timing! It made me laugh! I find it very nice! The light and BG are great, the details and anlge just superb, exp and eye contact great too, I might just crop a bit from the bottom. Congratulations!

This is way cool. I agree with Ramon as to a crop from the bottom. It is very sharp with an effective and narrow d-o-f. There are three problematic areas in the BKGR. 1.the light bit of grass touching the top center of the crown. 2. the fairly distinct stems above and behind the tail. The small, light circular area above the enter of the back.

Great angle, exposure control and use of DOF. Another vote for cropping some off the bottom and I might blur the BG a bit more. Thanks for sharing!
