Benn home for a couple of days, really tired to transfer the vacation pictures from laptop :( and making space available, I came across this Burrowing Owl from last year's Post-Xmas IPT. Nice head angle here and love the eyes. I find the right side a bit to much shadowed but OK. And the two colors, red and light green, seem to be a bit too much of a contrast, for me. I do like the image, just cant seem to get away from the background. I appreciate the share here. Thanks for posting.

I like the pose, detail, and the light from left that gives depth to the image. I can see a blue cast in the white breast feathers on the right of the owl - not sure if that is an imperfection or not, as sometime that's what you see in nature.
