I was giving a friend a lesson in Photoshop today when she asked about actions. I showed her the Illustrated action I had downloaded from atncentral.com and then applied it to one of my latest daylily images.
My question is...does the dark petal on the left lily bother anyone like it does me? (Hint: I'm talking about the front petal that resembles Mic Jagger's tongue!) :D Should I try to reconstruct the color to match all the way across the petal or do you like that it is shaded like this? I can't quite decide...

Yes. Don't take it personnally, I find anything that resembles Mick Jaggers tongue bothersome. Otherwise, this is very nice.

Hey Jules, I think the image is worth the extra mile. Fix that tongue, I mean, petal :)

Here you go, Fabs. I cleaned up a few other spots while I was in there. I've done this illustration on several of the daylily images I took on Saturday and they really take to this type of action!

Much better! I like this action a lot, too bad I don't have it in elements.

Carole, I'll try to remember to see if he breaks it down in steps and we'll see if we can't come up with something comparable that you could use in Elements. There's almost always a way to get around things because of Photoshop software having so many different options. I'll PM you if I can come up with anything!

The second looks more like his tongue :D Might not be a bad idea trying to incorporate the Mick in the flower !!! Really wild Jules !!!
