I was on Prince Edward Island yesterday photographing cormorants. In the evening we had some wonderfully warm light and I was impressed with the reflection of the red cliffs in the water below. Hope you like it too.

John, I caught almost this exact same pattern/color on a late autumn day last year! What a surprise to pull this image up and see it here all over again.
This is very nice but I wonder if you've tried cropping really tight and bringing out the pattern in the orange reflection? If your pattern was anything like mine it makes for a phenomenal abstract up close.

Not sure if this is optimal Julie. I just picked a more or less random area of the image. The red pattern reminds me of burled walnut- the sort you see on the dashboard of an old Jaguar or MG!
