Great pose Gary! The pink of the bird really stands out against the color of the BG. I just wish the tangle of trees wasn't perfectly centered behind the bird. I think you can bring out some detail in the darker areas of plumage too. Overall very nice though!

I like the pose and dark BG. The plumage and details of the bird itself could be improved in postprocessing. Did you apply NR on the bird and how did you sharpen? The perch looks too dark in comparison with the bird.
