Good timing with the water droplets Jo. Colours look beautiful, I am guessing the sky is putting a blue colouration in the water and also onto the bill.. I like the red fringe along the neck - can't say I recall seeing that previously.

Hi Joe ... a very nice colorful profit of this nice bird species .
Details and sharpness are looking very good .
Personally I think the blues a bit strong and the comp is a wee bit tight , needs more space to the right IMHO .

Dear Joe,
This is a very colourful and vibrant image with lots to look at, Spoonbills are such amazing looking creatures!
Framing looks good and I like the colours on the subject. IMHO a tad more sharpening needed on the head and bill and I agree with Andreas regarding blues in the water, a tad too strong.
Great timing and nice pose from the bird, well seen and captured:S3:
Warmest regards,

I like the intimate view of the feeding pose and water dripping off the bill - nice touch. The comp could be perfected as right now it is a bit awkward IMO. Certainly more room needed at right. There is also a bit of ghosting along the top of the head, perhaps from masking to blur the BG? Vivid colous though, and a great look at the face and head colours and textures.
