This was from my feeder when I was trying out the R5 before switching to Sony. Shot this one wide open. It makes me miss my 600 LOL

Very nice perch and background and catchlight. Thanks for sharing.
All the similar colours blending makes this look real good Kurt....Well exposed and good detail on the bird and perch. Perfect HA...Nice one

I think we can see the toe jam in the talons here Kurt ;-)
You loaded this one up with detail. You can just feel the desert with the colors on this one.
Tones look solid and love the tail flaps up pose!
You could selectively burn the perch a bit if you wanted just to take a little of the brightness out but doesn't really bother me. Might also take out the second small catchlight.
TFS, hope we get to shoot again this year....!
Kurt nice and the bird is sharp with all the details and perfect Ha . For me might take the exposure down some just a little bright. Maybe it was shot in harder light?
My favorite sparrow, and I've had a couple of migrating adults in my yard underneath the feeders and no time to photograph them. Argh lol! I like Brian's suggestion of toning down the perch, otherwise all is good from my end.
Looks fine and dandy. I could go either way with the perch. I love the great view of the feet.
with love, artie
The bird looks pretty ideal oto me, i would suggest toning down the perch a little that's all.
